Lutz Hartmann mainly counsels German and international clients in all areas related to corporate law, especially company sales and acquisitions. Here, emphasis is on cross border transactions with foreign companies in Germany and German companies in France and Africa.

Lutz Hartmann studied law in Mainz, Freiburg im Breisgau and Paris and concluded his studies at the University of Paris V with a master in European commercial law. He worked for several years in an international law firm in Paris and as a company lawyer in a private equity firm before he founded his own law firm in Frankfurt in 2002.

Lutz Hartmann is one of Belmont | Legal’s founding partners and is admitted to the bar in Frankfurt and as an Avocat à la Cour in Paris. He is a foreign trade advisor for the French government (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur) and a member of the board of the German-African Business Association.
